The question concerning about the length of validity for alcohol certification is a good question. The length of the certification is not determined by any trainer or vendor. Rather, it’s determined by either the city, municipality, or liability insurance carrier for the location at which you serve alcohol that will determine the length of the validity. 

Check with your manager and ask about alcohol certification in their area. They should know the of length of validity for their state and local area. Some liability insurance carriers for the place where you are working may request the alcohol certification length of validity may be shorter. If you are not working at this time, you’ll want to check with city clerk’s office where you will be serving alcohol. Again, the length of the certification is the same for all branding of alcohol training providers as they cannot give you a conflicting amount of time to the state’s requirement.
