Pennsylvania RAMP Server/Seller Training: What On-Premises Staff Need to Know

Pennsylvania’s Responsible Alcohol Management Program (RAMP) is administered by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB). For the people actually serving and selling alcohol, the core requirement is RAMP Server/Seller Training.

What this means for Pennsylvania servers and managers

Under Pennsylvania law, alcohol service personnel must complete server/seller training within six months of their employment date. The training covers detecting fake IDs, identifying the signs of intoxication, and responsibly managing patrons. At the establishment level, at least 50% of a licensee’s alcohol service staff must be trained before that business can obtain RAMP certification from the PLCB. RAMP certification at the licensee level is made up of several components, of which Server/Seller Training is one.

If you need to complete your training, you can do it through our Pennsylvania RAMP Server/Seller Training.
