The minimum age to sell alcohol in Texas is 16 years of age (off-premise like a grocery store). The minimum age to serve alcohol in Texas is 18 years of age (on-premise like a restaurant).

You may work behind a bar and serve alcohol in the state of Texas with a felony conviction.
