Protect Your Venue. Train Your Crowd-Facing Teams. Stay Compliant
On game day, your venue may serve tens of thousands of guests in hours. Concession stands are slammed, lines are long, and the pressure to move fast is constant. That is exactly when mistakes happen: a missed ID check, a sale to an intoxicated guest, an undercooked item, or an unflagged allergen. One incident can mean fines, liquor license trouble, a health code violation, or a lawsuit, and it can land on your brand in public.
Serving Alcohol Inc. helps venues train concession workers, bartenders, suite and club staff, event-day hires, and managers with state-approved, 100% online certification courses. We’re rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau.
In a stadium, your alcohol servers are your front line against underage sales and overservice. Our Responsible Alcohol Service courses teach staff how to:
Every state, and often every county or city, regulates alcohol service differently. Some states only offer on-premise certification, like Texas and Oregon. Some require separate training for on-premise, off-premise, and delivery service, like Georgia. Some states split off-premise certification into a free state-run course that no third-party provider can offer, like California. We offer a dedicated, state-specific course for each.
Popular courses for stadium staff include:

Trusted by liability carriers, it can help lower liquor and general liability premiums.
Courses reflect the latest laws, including updates on drink spiking and ID verification.
Stadiums rely on a mix of full-time employees, seasonal hires, and event-day workers, and everyone needs training before their first shift. Our platform helps you:
Hiring hundreds of event-day workers requires quick credential verification. Use our Certificate Search & Validation tool to confirm any applicant’s certificate in seconds. Hospitality workers can also browse our Job Search Information page, and new bartenders can start with our Bartending License Guide.
High-volume concessions make food safety harder. Fast turnover, temporary kitchens, and mobile carts all raise the risk. Our food safety training helps staff:
Food handler requirements often change not just state by state, but county by county, which matters when your venue draws staff from several jurisdictions. Our Food Handler certification is accepted broadly across most states.
Exceptions: It isn’t accepted in Alaska, Oregon, Utah, or Washington, where you must obtain food handler cards directly through the local health authority.
In some states, it comes with its own “Required” or “Special Requirements” rules, like Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Ohio, and Texas.
On top of that, several states that broadly accept our certification still have specific counties or cities with their own separate rules, including parts of Alabama, Arizona, California, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, and Oklahoma.
Because of this patchwork, we recommend that venue operators verify each location’s exact requirements, down to the county level, using our compliance team or Business Dashboard before enrolling staff. We offer dedicated Food Handler courses for the states above, plus general food safety training everywhere else.

Do all stadium employees who handle alcohol need certification?
This depends on your state. In many states, anyone who sells, serves, or delivers alcohol, including bartenders, concession servers, and sometimes managers, must be certified. Check your state’s course page for exact requirements.
Do temporary or seasonal staff need certification too?
In most cases, if they sell or serve alcohol or handle food, the same rules apply. Confirm with your state and local authorities before the season starts.
Do I need both alcohol training and food handler training?
If your venue serves both food and alcohol, most states require separate certifications for each. Many operators enroll staff in both at the same time to streamline onboarding. See our Food Handler Training page for details.
How long does certification take?
Most courses are self-paced and can be completed online in under two hours.
How do I manage certifications across multiple venues or a large staff?
Set up a Business Account to enroll, track, and manage all employee certifications from a single dashboard.
