Minnesota – Urgent Liquor License and State Shutdown

Today, a MN On-Premise establishment called me with the
following situation.
1. They had filled out their application for a July 1, 2011 renewal and sent it in to their local city government.
2. They were informed that due to the impending potential State Shutdown they wouldn’t have a valid liquor license after July 1st.
3. The owner then gathered up from their city hall all the applications and brought them to Liquor Control where they were all signed immediately.
If you have a license due now or in the very near future, call your city clerk and act on this immediately.
