Costco contributes more cash to put I-1100 on ballot
Costco has contributed more cash toward Initiative 1100, their total contribution now reaching about $642,000. Union workers have united to contribute almost $76,000 to the campaign against the privatization of state liquor sales. The initiative that would close the state’s liquor stores and allow stores that hold beer and wine licenses to sell hard-liquor is one of two liquor-store privatization initiative campaigns that may be placed on this November’s ballot.
